My body of work revolve around the tension and Power emanating from the physicality of Photography. In a realm of pictures, how does the medium- as a record of Nature- cope with the distorted reality created by 'virtual' images. Moreover, Photography shifted to an empire of signs: not only conveying form but nowadays merely vessels for information. I'm interested in the dissemination of that information and particularly its construction or "manipulation" : its flow in mass media and how these apparatus control what reaches the public. In this work I dissected what I consider "layers of diffraction" towards the representation of Wars: focusing on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, I studied the 'mythology'-as opposed to History-created by images in Mass Media and icons like the Wall.

3 videos installation (screenshot) After the documentary form of the checkpoint movie, I recorded Palestinian struggles from a "poetical" point of view; trying to defuse the mass media dramatisation and the absurdity of the situation in 3 scenes.
